New Mega Nerf Centurion Blaster

Well Nerf looks to be releasing a new range of the N-Strike series call MEGA . It's clamming to have a range of 100ft in the states , but I'm sure the Australian version won't be that distance sadly. I'm sure it will another 6 to 12 months before Australia gets in the shops I reakon. As we are still waiting on the new vortex pistol to be realsed . It looks to be a Sniper rifle , lets hear what you guy have to say?

Vortex Diatron Blaster

Well it's been a while since I've shown some excitement about a Nerf product the Vortex Diatron . This blaster shoots two discs. The blaster looks like a real design but we will have to wait to see how it shoots. Like always in Australia we are last to get anything, so your guess is as good as mine to when we get it. But as soon a we do I will let you know .

Nerf Pyragon

Finaly it's come to south Australia the Nerf Pyragon. This Nerf product is pretty cool. It comes with forty disks which are red and white in colour. Like all of the vortex range of Nerf guns they do get good range.

Nerf Big bad bow

Well it's been along time waiting and finally got my hands on a Nerf big bad bow. Unfortunately it's not a original red one but it's a avengers version so the colors are a purple in colour but hay that's why we have paint for to make them look the way we want them to look like .
Performance wise they don't shot far may be 10 to 15 meters. And They only supply 3 large darts and so far I can't find any spares. So over all it's not a bad bow .

Nerf Recon

Well finally got there but here it is, it's a Nerf recon with a long strike barrel and a Nerf Raider butt.

New Mod

Just thought I would let you guys know that i'm working on a new gun design. I'm using a few different Nerf parts to make the design. Here are some pics so far. See if you can guess which parts come from which Nerf gun.

Nerf Speedswarm

Nerf Speedswarm is another gun in the Dart Tag series from Hasbro. It's another battery operated gun that uses 6AA batteries. Now, the differences that I have noticed about the Speedswarm over the bigger model Swarmfire is that it doesn't have a on/off switch and it is much slower. The Speedswarm holds 10 darts and the range is around 17 metres. Which I found is a little disappointing.

                     

Nerf Dart Tag Extra's

I've noticed with the launch of the new dart tag series they have released a few extras like the option to buy nerf glasses. These glasses are quite good considering the price , which from BigW they are around the $8 mark.

They also are selling dart tag darts. The refills at BigW for a pack of 16 cost around $6

Nerf Dart Tag Swamfire

Nerf has released a new and very updated Dart tag series. The Swamfire is the biggest of the five , It's boasts 20 darts which uses Velcro on the tips. Also this gun uses 6 c size batteries which quite alot of batteries and it's going to dependent on the quality of the batteries to how long the batteries will last. It's has a good range considering its run on batteries. The range is around 25 to 30 meters and the firing rate is quite fast.
This gun has a big thumbs up from me.

Nerf Hail-fire

Well, Nerf Nation just released official picture of the new Hail-Fire and wow this looks different. On a personal note it looks way to cumbersome for the battlefield , and it looks like Nerf isn't supplying enough darts to fill all the cartridges. I think most Nerf fans will still buy this one, just to give it go.
Again I think Australia will be waiting a while for this one. But I'll be waiting with my bells a whistles on to get this one can't wait .

Nerf Elite Rampage

The new Nerf Elite is not far away now and they bring out some cool looking Nerf guns and some not so cool Nerf guns. Here are some images of two guns. The first one is called Nerf Rampage now there is alot of talk say that it looks like the Nerf Raider but the Nerf Rampage has different internals. But we wont know till the release date. Which here for Australia we are not sure yet.

The second Nerf gun is called the Retaliator now the Retaliator looks alot like another previous Nerf gun called the Nerf Recon. But has a few added additions one been the removable rear stock and also the assault grip.

It looks like its going to be another nice gun.

Camo Jolts

Today I painted some more Nerf Jolts. Zach wanted me to do his in a different color to mine
so I did his green and Matt black. Hey these jolts really pack a punch & they are still surprising me on how
far they go .And they a  easy and quick load love these things.

How to disassemble Nerf Jolt

Today I thought I would try to mod my Nerf Jolt by removing the air restrictors so the distance would be increased . For the amount of trouble that goes into removing the air restrictors its not really worth doing because the distance didn't vary much at all.

Below is a picture of the working internals, and theres not much to it.

How to disassemble

The first thing you want to do is to remove the trigger pin, to do this just use a small

screw driver to push the holding pin out. If you look at the pin in the picture below it has grooving on it to stop it from coming out. If you use a bit of force it will come out . Just a quick tip, on one side of the trigger housing the pin is flush and the other side is a bit recessed in ,use that side to push. 

Now thats done, undo the four screws at the bottom and then slowly slide the ram out and thats really it.
Now your all done.

Nerf Jolt

Well I went to BigW to see if they had anything new in Nerf family and we came across the new Nerf Jolt.
I tell you It maybe small but this thing packs a punch. It doesn't look like you can mod it, to much  in the way of internals but we can still give it a paint job later. Distance wise I'm getting around 15 meters. This is a handy back up on the Battle field.
